Healer, Heal Thyself

Hey Happy People!!! It's 5:45 AM and I've been up for an hour being productive. However, not necessarily doing what I have assigned to do at this hour. (PAUSE - Let me go be obiedent and circle back) Ok. I did it. What was it? Yoga. So every morning I am supposed to do Yoga with no set limit of time. I'm simply suppose to "JUST DO IT". To many times and more than I would like to report of days that this simple act of self-care is a challenge. This blog is my personal deep dive to identify exactly why I am failing at showing up for myself consistently concerning my Yoga practice and more. My goal in this blog is to be vulnerable, candid and hopefully triggering in a positive light that serves as a catalyst of change in myself & you.

Let's start with I'm not giving myself the out of this discussion by simply stating "I'm Human". The average Human invest a minimum of 4 hours and 30 minutes of work and related activities per day. That time may very well be invested in someone else's dream, need and/or company mission versuses their own. By no means do I consider myself or my magical village of "Super" Humans average. Also, I'm willing to gamble that 99.9% of them spend more than 12 hrs multitasking their energy to meet multiple needs of others. What I share with my Soul Group is that we are so driven and invested in loving and supporting others before ourselves. I strongly dislike the fact that I get more pleasure and excitement out of investing in others than I do with myself.

I mean have been so conditioned or is this my natural wiring and merely my process in healing myself. I have explored what language must I say to myself consistently to evoke the action of my highest good like.... I will not self-sabotage. I will not betray myself. I deserve giving myself my Best. Honestly, some days it works and other days I'm not here for it or convinced enough to move in the direction of being my best person.

With that I'm left with questions like, "what happen or who did it?" Only to respond "I'm no ones victim." Not to say that words and/or actions of others can't or haven't landed and generated a negative thought or feeling. I'm Human. This meaning I am a being having a series of conscious altering experiences and the outcomes vary on the experience, information asborbed, who I share the experience with and how I'm investing my energy and time. I think I just uncovered something. My services are orchestrated to create an experience of peace from the moment you walk up the steps to the front door. In this moment, I'm clear I'm not orchestrating moments to prioritize my peace, pleasure or play.

Plato believed that humans have both immaterial mind (soul) and material (body). That our souls are composed of 1. reason; 2. appetite (physical urges); and will (emotion, passion, spirit.) Modern Philosopher, Ludwig Wittgenstein stated “The limits of my language mean the limits of my world. Whereof one cannot speak, thereof one must be silent. The world is everything that is the case.”

If I merge these 2 prospectives together. I think what my Soul wants me to know (Check out the Tarot cards) is that I need to broaden the scope of my language to expand the terrain of the world in which I breathe, actively learning to strike balance and energize. With that I can redirect my thoughts and learn creative practices that generate peace, play and pleasure for my healing and love light mission. This will make the act of self-compassion (Take the pledge) a real living thing. I will keep you posted on my progress in all the sacred spaces I design for me.
